REVIEW: ART ART & AWAY

A few weeks back, I was invited by Justin (@sgfoodiary) for media tasting at Art Art And Away!
Art Art and Away is an all-in-one lifestyle concept consisting of a decorative art retail store and a dessert cafe. Just tell me how to not love this place already?  I love how spacious the place is and might be a perfect place to chill at if you stay around the area!

The Dessert Cafe serves signature local desserts with a contemporary twist including the New Wave Mango Pudding, Chee Cheong Fun V2.0, Bak Kwa & Pork Floss Eggette, and many more. So let's move on to the tasting menu for the day!

When I reached there, I was served a cup of strawberry smoothies! IT WAS SOOO GOOD & perfect for the super hot weather in Singapore!

#1 - Chee Cheong Fun 2.0
What's on the plate: Mango roll with Okinawa black sauce and strawberry sauce.
Please tell me how creative they can be, this was my top choice in the tasting menu! I love having the real Chee Cheong Fun for breakfast back then, I am glad that they came up with such a cute idea! Highly recommend this~

#2 - New Wave Mango Pudding
What's on the plate: Mango pudding, passion fruit gel, coconut caviar, feuilletine, mango cubes, pomegranate seeds, mango ice cream
I didn't really like this as it was too sour to my liking, but overall it taste not that bad either! However, I will not recommend this to you!

#3 - Coconut-Cutting-Edge Pudding
What's on the plate: Coconut pudding, kaya, coconut flesh, red ruby and Jackfruit
This is definitely for the people who are a fan of coconut! I loved how the coconut and kaya complemented each other :)

#4 - Chocolate Chip Eggette
What's on the plate: Vanilla Ice cream, fresh fruits and cream.
Ooooh, I gotta say I love this cause the entire plate consists of everything I love to eat! Strawberries, blueberries and chocolate! What's not to love about this Eggette?

#5 - Bak Kwa & Pork Floss Eggette
What's on the plate: Vanilla Ice Cream, fresh fruits cream.
Honestly, I wasn't very impressed by this batter. I've never like eating pork floss/chicken floss, I am weird, but I've never like having them on my bread or whatsoever. Personal preference anyway! I wouldn't recommend this to people who are not a fan of pork floss, however, those who are a bak kwa & pork floss lover, you might want to give this try.

#6 - Mango Pomelo Sago Sundae
Mango Ice Cream. Vanilla Ice Cream, Mango Sauce, Mango Cubes, Sago and Pomelo
My bf and I absolutely love this cup of Sundae though we are dying from all the sugar rush already! Hahahaha, couldn't finish it~ But we tasted how sweet it was, totally worth the try! ^~^

And lastly, we ended off with some fried Luncheon meat & Chendol Sundae. No pictures for that, so sorry! I was busy enjoying their dessert the entire time.. hehe! What a splendid experience and definitely coming back for more with my friends! Fyi - The cafe beside Art Art and Away called Hungry Heroes is own by the same boss too. Had a little tour inside and I am soo excited to have my next trip there, will blog about it!

Overall experience - We had an enjoyable time at Art Art And Away! The whole interior of Art Art and Away is a free flowing space where customers would feel uninhibited in every part of the store, I felt so relaxed and comfortable when I am in the cafe! The quirky and colourful decorative art products displayed totally stands out from other cafes! Coming back for more, thank you for the invitation and kind gesture! :D
